Scares Returning Thanks to Russell Masonic Lodge
For more than two decades, kids of all ages were given a fright thanks to the Russell Arts Council Haunted House in downtown Russell. Former Russell Mayor Henrietta "Henri" Wenthe served as the Head Witch in Charge, helping plan, construct and portray characters in the attraction which featured different themes throughout the years.

South Fossil Street Reconstruction Project to Begin This Month
Continuing the City of Russell's multi-year plan to make improvements to its roadways, a complete reconstruction of South Fossil Street from Dorrance Street north to just south of Wichita Avenue is scheduled to begin this month. Pre-construction activities will take place the first two weeks in April with full reconstruction slated to begin on Monday, April 17.
