Semi Causes Power Outage in Russell

Authorities say a semi truck caused power to go out on the west side of Russell Wednesday.
According to Russell Police Chief Jon Quinday, a FedEx semi struck a low hanging cable line around 11:30 Wednesday morning and caused three power poles to go down near the intersection of Holland and Wisconsin Streets.
The driver was not injured.
Crews from the Russell Electrical Department were able to fully restore power by 1:30 Wednesday afternoon.
The Russell Police Department is investigating the accident.
