City of Russell Fire Department Announces Promotion of Three Individuals

City of Russell Fire DepartmentThe City of Russell Fire Department would like to announce the promotion of three individuals taking effect August 1.

Jordan Harrison has been promoted to Assistant Chief. Harrison has served as a Captain for the Fire Department over the last few years. He has been very active in the development of the Fire Explorers program, fire prevention education and young fire setter courses.

Rick Webb has been promoted to the rank of Captain. Over the last two years, Webb has served as a Lieutenant for the Fire Department. Webb is very active in Russell Recreation t-ball as a coach, Shrine and also assists in the instruction of new firefighters.

Jacob Boxberger has been promoted to Lieutenant. Boxberger has been active in helping teach new firefighters on the Department and brings a wealth of knowledge to the Department.

"Congratulations to these firefighters, and we thank them for their service to the community," said Fire Chief Dylan Riedel.
