Local Group Seeking Food, Clothes Donations

Now through December 4, the Russell County Economic Development and Convention and Visitors Bureau is hosting a holiday donation project.

If you would like, please drop off any non-perishable food items and any new gloves, hats, scarves or socks for school students at the Eco Devo and CVB office, located at 331 E. Wichita in Russell, Monday through Friday from 8 AM until 5 PM. According to Director Janae Talbott, a collection box will also be available at upcoming events and meetings that you may leave your donations with staff attending those events as well.

The food goods will be donated to the Russell County Food Pantry and the apparel will be distributed to the schools throughout Russell County for students in need of a little extra warmth this winter.
