Benefit Dinner for Natoma Couple Planned

Natoma House After FireA benefit barbeque supper for a Natoma couple that lost their home in a house fire earlier this month will be held Saturday, January 5.

Chad Clark and fiance Saraya Joy of Natoma have been living with local family members after their house on North 2nd Street in Natoma was destroyed a few weeks ago by a large fire said by Natoma Fire Chief Keith Koelling to have been caused by a wood burning stove.

Clark and Joy were uninjured, but they did lose a dog and a couple cats as well as a majority of the home's contents.

The supper will be held Saturday, January 5 starting at 6 PM at the Natoma Community Center and donations will be accepted. Todd Schneider, Quentin Maupin and several family members will prepare a menu of barbeque pork sandwiches, side dishes and desserts.

Everyone from the area is encouraged to attend.
