At 107, Oldest Russell Resident Dies

Hollinger, born in 1905 in Dorrance, graduated from Russell High School in 1921. She and husband Lloyd owned and operated the Hollinger Drug Store in Russell for 40 years. Hollinger was also a long-time member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church where she played the organ and the piano for over 70 years until her retirement at the age of 95.
A funeral service to honor Hollinger's life will be held Saturday at 11 AM at the Otterbein United Methodist Church in Russell. A full obituary and more information can be found on our Funeral Notices page.
