RHS FFA Judging Team Invited to Scotland

FFA Judging Team 2012It was announced at Monday's USD 407 Board of Education meeting that fundraising has begun to try to send four students from Russell High School to Scotland for a trip they will never forget.

The four students: Lane Mai, Payton Stoppel, Jordan Moubry and Clayton Moubry; are from the RHS FFA livestock judging team and have been invited to go to the European country this summer to participate in the international livestock judging competition.

The team finished fourth at the national competition last year in Indianapolis.

USD 407 Superintendent Dave Couch urges you to help these kids in any way.

"Open your pocket books, sign those checks and let's send our kids to Scotland. It's a great honor for our kids," said Couch.

For more information about how to donate and help the students get to Scotland, contact Russell County Extension Agent John Stannard.
