Snow EmergencyThe traffic emergency declared on February 25 for the City of Russell has been terminated. According to City Manager Jon Quinday, vehicles can again be parked along emergency snow routes.

If possible, please do not park on Main Street and the adjoining side streets overnight, Tuesday and Wednesday, as that is when crews will be removing the snow piles.

The release also states the city would like to express its appreciation to the residents of Russell for keeping their vehicles off of the designated streets and for those who were able to move their vehicles off the street in residential areas. This enhanced the snow clearing efforts.
