Two Injured in I-70 Rollover on Saturday

Rollover AccidentA man and a woman from Mississippi were injured and taken to Ellsworth County Medical Center Saturday afternoon following their involvement in a rollover wreck on Interstate 70 west of the Ellsworth exit.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, driver, 42-year-old Louise Mary Baker and passenger, 50-year-old Corbett Baker both of Horn Lake, Mississippi, were transported by ambulance to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The KHP report states they were traveling westbound in a 1999 Isuzu passenger car when the right rear tire blew out and the driver lost control of the vehicle. The car then rolled one time and came to rest in the median on its wheels.

The crash happened Saturday at 2:50 PM at I-70 mile marker 210 or about nine miles west of the Ellsworth exit.
