Folks in select sections of Russell wanting to build additions to their homes or businesses or wanting maybe to put up a new garage or out-building will be eligible starting Monday, July 1 to apply with the city for property tax rebates based on those upgrades.
The rebates come from a new Russell Neighborhood Revitalization Program that was approved a few months ago by the Russell City Council that is built to encourage new development and citywide cleanup.
Russell City Manager Jon Quinday explains the program and how it works.
To apply for the program or if you have any questions, contact Russell Community Development Director Barry Mooney or simply stop by the city building.Read More Local News
