Homecoming Week at Russell High School

Russell Champion MascottIt is homecoming week at Russell High School and a full week of events awaits students, parents and fans.

RHS students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities from float building to lip sync and class skit competitions. Also, there will be spirit days. Monday is "Tribal Day." Tuesday is "Animal / Animal Print Day." Wednesday is "Duck Dynasty Day." Thursday is "PJ Day." Friday is "Red and Blue Day."

Parents and fans are encouraged to join students on Thursday evening for the traditional pep rally and bon fire around 8pm next to Shaffer Field.

Friday's events include the parade at 2:30pm, booster club tailgate party at 5:30pm, crowning of king and queen at 6:40pm and the football game between Russell and Republic Co. at 7pm.

The events wrap up Friday night with the homecoming dance for students.
