SHPTV Garners Four First Place Awards

Smoky Hills KAB Awards 13Smoky Hills Public Television received four First Place awards at this year's Kansas Association of Broadcasters Annual Convention in Manhattan.

The top recognition went to the promotional campaigns for Valentines and Wines and KCAC Basketball. Also receiving first place was the Doctors on Call episode highlighting orthopedic issues. The final first place nod went to the Scoreboard Show for best sportscast.

"Receiving awards for such a variety of programs shows what a quality body of work we produce at Smoky Hills Public Television," says General Manager and CEO Michael Quade. "I'm proud of all of the people involved in these productions and events."
