Woman, Two Children Injured in Rollover Wreck

Rollover AccidentA Friday afternoon rollover wreck near Bunker Hill sent one woman and two children to the hospital with injuries.

According to a recent law enforcement report, at 3:50 PM Friday, a 911 call was received from Valorie Swartz of Downs advising she rolled her 2004 Toyota passenger car.

Swartz was unable to advise her location and it was determined by the 911 mapping system that the accident occurred approximately four miles north of Bunker Hill and just south of Salt Creek Road on 193rd Street.

According to Russell County Undersheriff Max Barrett, Swartz and two children, a 12-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl, were transported by Russell County EMS to Russell Regional Hospital.

The children were then life-watched via EagleMed to a Wichita hospital. Swartz was released from the hospital and traveled to Wichita. The children's condition at this time is unknown.

Barrett said upon arriving at the scene of the wreck, it appeared the children had been ejected from the vehicle.
