City of Russell Looks to Make Zoning Easier to Understand

Not since 1994 have the zoning regulations in the city of Russell been updated. Outdated and sometimes difficult to understand regulations are why city officials are working hard to revamp Russell's zoning codes.
City of Russell Building and Zoning Official Barry Mooney says it's been a long process where he, City Manager Jon Quinday and other city leaders have gone over the regulations line-by-line.
He says the new regulations will make it easier on folks who might want to start a building project on their property.
Mooney encourages residents with questions or who want more information to attend a public hearing on the topic during the Russell Planning Commission's meeting on Thursday, April 10 at 7 PM.
