If you've battled cancer for 20 years or just found out you have the disease, the Russell County Relay for Life Committee wants to invite you to a special survivor luncheon on May 10 at Fossil Creek Hotel and Suites in Russell.
Russell County Relay for Life volunteer Damian Morgenstern says around 60 cancer survivors attended last year's luncheon and he anticipates they will have another great crowd this year.
The meal is free and you are encouraged to bring anyone you want.
Please RSVP by Monday, April 28 by calling Julie Dreher at 483-0265 or go to Stoppel Supply in Russell. You can also contact Morgenstern at the Russell County Sheriff's Office for more information.
This year's Russell County Relay for Life event will be held Saturday, May 31 from 2 PM to 2 AM at Russell High School's Amos Morris Gymnasium.Read More Local News
