Audition Dates Announced for RCT's Summer Production

Auditions for "Greater Tuna" directed by Deb Kreutzer will be Tuesday and Thursday, May 6 and 8 at the RCT PlayHouse located at 140 East 5th Street in Russell at 7 PM until 9 PM each evening. The RCT PlayHouse is the old First Baptist Church located at the corner of 5th and Kansas Streets.
This show is a wild romp through the characters that make up the population of a small town called Tuna, Texas. It requires many people from all age groups. Age groups from 18 to 80 will be considered. Prepared material is not requested; just show up and be willing to have a good time.

The RCT's production of "Greater Tuna" by Jaston Williams, Ed Howard and Joe Sears will be presented July 8 through 12 at the Russell Elks Lodge.
The Russell Community Theater is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit, corporation that was organized in 1986. Its ultimate governing body is its stockholders. The theater's Board of Directors is elected annually by the stockholders. The sole purpose of RCT is to produce theater for the community and surrounding area. The theater is supported financially solely through the sale of tickets to its productions and by gifts from those supportive of community theater and the arts generally. RCT has a perfomance space at the corner of 5th and Kansas Streets in Russell. It also has offices, a warehouse and a scene shop located at 839 Main in Russell.
