Wilson Lake Gears Up for Busy Weekend

Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism Biologist Scott Waters says with the ongoing drought, water levels at the lake are significantly down and the low levels might cause hazards in parts of the water.
Waters also reminds folks some of the boat ramps are closed due to the low levels.
He says staying safety-minded on the water is especially important during a busy weekend like this weekend.
And a reminder, under the Russell County burn ban, no campfires are allowed at Wilson Lake or any other part of the county.Read More Local News
