Hurricane Sandy Causes Blood Shortage
The effects of Hurricane Sandy are still being felt on the east coast as hundreds of previously scheduled blood drives had to be canceled, prompting local American Red Cross representatives to urge folks to donate blood to help erase the blood shortage caused by the storm.
