Broncos 10th in Scott City, Windholz Places First and Baldwin Second

RHS Wrestler Jacob Windholz in Scott City 1-18-20Four members of the Russell High School wrestling team competed in the 35th annual Scott City Classic at the SCHS Gym on Saturday, January 18.

Jacob Windholz (pictured left) went 3-0 and won the 132 pound division. He is now 21-1 on the season. Stephan Baldwin (pictured lower right) took second place at 120 pounds with a 3-1 mark. He improves to 19-7. Hunter Reddig went 0-2 at 145 pounds. Maximus Self had an 0-4 record at 285 pounds.

RHS Wrestler Stephan Baldwin in Scott City 1-18-20Russell placed 10th as a team with 50 points. Scott City ran off with a team title with 262 points. Larned was second with 142 points. 13 schools competed.

The Broncos will wrestle in the Bob Kuhn Classic in Hays on Friday and Saturday, January 24-25.
