Great Day for RHS Runners

The Russell High School cross country team opened their season on Saturday, Sept. 1 at the Hoisington Josh Emerson Classic.

Nathan Barney and Tucker Kaufman both brought home medals in the boys varsity race.  Kaufman finished third with a time of 19:42.  Barney took fourth place with a 20:13.

Ethan Kaufman won the boys junior varsity run with a time of 20:54.  Shiv Gupta ran a 33:32 and took 10th place.

Hannah Hoch won the girls junior varsity race with a time of 21:27.

Russell travels to Quinter on Thursday.
