Lady Broncos Win Larned Invite

The Russell High School girls golf team claimed their second team title of the season on Thursday, Sept. 13 by winning the Larned Invitational.

The Lady Broncos shot a 424 and beat second place Hoisington by 15 strokes.  Larned was third with a 441.  Seven teams competed in the 18-hole tournament.

Russell had four individual medalists.  Megan Boxberger finished second with a 100.  Alex Ptacek shot a 102 and took fifth.  Anna Plante was seventh with a 110.  Janna Schulte placed ninth with a 112.

The Lady Broncos host the Russell Invite on Monday starting at 3pm.
