Lady Broncos Finish Runnerups at Own Tourney

The Russell High School girls golf team took second at their own tournament held on Monday, Sept. 17 at the Russell Municipal Course.
The Lady Broncos shot a 210. Goodland won the tourney with a 196. Bennington was third with a 221.
Russell's Megan Boxberger won the individual crown with a 44. Alex Ptacek shot a 48 and finished third. Janna Schulte was 12th with a 54. Anna Plante posted a 64.
Russell will compete in the Hoisington Invite on Monday.
