KSHSAA Announces Postseason Basketball, Wrestling Assignments

The Kansas State High School Activities Association has released their sub-state basketball and regional wrestling assignments.
The Russell boys and girls basketball teams will be apart of the Norton Class 3A Sub-State. Joining Russell and Norton in the field are Beloit, Ellsworth, TMP-Marian, Hoisington, Minneapolis and Phillipsburg.
The Russell wrestling team is in the Norton 3-2-1A Regional. Joining Russell and Norton are Atwood-Rawlins County, Ellis, TMP-Marian, Hill City, Hoxie, Kensington-Thunder Ridge, Leoti-Wichita County, Lincoln, Oakley, Oberlin-Decatur Community, Osborne, Phillipsburg, Plainville, Quinter, Scott City, Smith Center, St. Francis, Stockton, Sylvan-Lucas, Tribune-Greeley County and Wakeeney-Trego Community.
Regional wrestling tournaments will be held Feb. 15 and 16. Sub-State basketball tournaments will be Feb. 25 through Mar. 2.
