Broncos Finish Runner-ups at Own Invite

RHS WrestlingThe Russell High School wrestling took second place at their own RHS Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 12 at Amos Morris Gym.

The Broncos finished with 108.5 points.  Plainville ran off with the team title with 217 points.  Onaga scored 102 points and was third.

Russell had seven wrestlers place in the top four, including three individual champs.

152 - Regis Weiss (4-0, 1st)
160 - Dylan Walker (3-1, 2nd)
170 - Joey Oste (1-3, 4th)
182 - Matt Langhofer (3-2, 3rd)
220 - Andrew Ochampaugh (4-0, 1st)
285 - Chris Gulick (2-2, 4th)

Russell will compete in the Bob Kuhn Senior Prairie Classic in Hays on Friday and Saturday.
