Broncos Win Red Cloud Invitational

The Russell High School wrestling team won the Red Cloud, Nebraska Red and Blue Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 26.
The Broncos finished with 140 points. 12 teams competed in the tournament - nine from Nebraska and three from Kansas. Those three Kansas teams were Russell, Lincoln and Republic Co.
Russell had seven of their nine wrestlers make the finals and two won their weight classes.

152 - Regis Weiss (3-0, 1st)
160 - Dylan Walker (1-1, 2nd)
170 - Dalton Brand (2-1, 2nd)
182 - Matt Langhofer (1-1, 2nd)
220 - Andy Ochampaugh (1-1, 2nd)
285 - Chris Gulick (2-2, 4th)
Russell travels to Minneapolis on Thursday. The dual begins at 6:30pm.
