Frohling, Broncos End Regular-Season on High Note

The Russell High School wrestling team gave their retiring head coach and seniors a win in their final dual on Thursday, Feb. 7 as they beat SE-Saline 42-26 in front of a large crowd at Amos Morris Gym in Russell.
Wyatt Frohling is retiring at the end of the school year after 12 years at RHS.
Six Russell seniors were recognized - Chris Gulick, Matt Langhofer, Andrew Ochampaugh, Nick Sells, Dylan Walker and Regis Weiss.

With the win, Russell finishes with a 4-1 record in the NCAA and captures a share of the league title with Beloit and Minneapolis.
The Broncos now turn their focus to the Class 3-2-1A Regional in Norton, which will be held Feb. 15 and 16.
