Russell High School is sending four wrestlers to the 3-2-1A State Tournament in Hays this Thursday and Friday, Feb. 23-24.

Alex Baldwin, Ryan Krause, Dylan Walker and Regis Weiss all qualified after finishing in the top four at the Russell regional on Saturday, Feb. 18.

Krause (22-10) finished third at 126 pounds.  Baldwin (17-6) took fourth at 113.  Walker (26-14) was fourth at 160.  Weiss (31-10) placed fourth at 145.

Hoisington won the regional team title on Saturday in Russell with 166.5 points.  Smith Center was second with 159.  Marysville took third with 137.5.  Russell was eighth with 78.5 points.

The 3-2-1A State Wrestling Tournament will be held at Gross Memorial Colesium on Thursday and Friday.
