Karlie Steinle poured in 42 points and grabbed 18 rebounds in her final high school game, but it was not enough as the Wilson girls basketball team fell to Rexford-Golden Plains 77-67 in the third place game of the 1A Div. 2 State Tournament in Hays on Saturday, March 9.

3A: RHS Girls Shut Down by Garden Plain

The Russell High School girls basketball team ran into a dominate defensive team from Garden Plain and lost 57-35 in the semifinals of the Class 3A State Tournament on Friday, March 8 at the Hutchinson Sports Arena.
