Russell County Highway Department - Multiple Opportunities

Russell County Highway Department is accepting applications for full-time Mechanic, Operator I and Operator II positions. 

Mechanic job duties include skilled and semi-skilled mechanical work. 

Operator I and Operator II job duties include truck driving, operation of various pieces of heavy equipment, mowing, and other road and bridge work duties. Must be capable of working unsupervised and able to lift 75 lbs. Applicants must be 18 years of age. Current CDL is required. Position is subject to a pre-employment drug test.
