COVID-19 Case Total Update for April 16

As of Noon, Friday, April 16, Russell County has had 858 total positive cases of COVID-19 since tracking began, with no new cases since April 12, according to the Russell County Health Department.

The current active and in isolation case count is one with 834 recovered cases, 60 hospitalizations with no current hospitalizations, 23 deaths and one in quarantine.

The cumulative positivity rate for this week is 9.1 percent. The cumulative positivity rate for April is 4.3 percent.

3,468 total Russell County residents have been vaccinated, either through the Health Department or other places, according to KDHE's reporting portal.

There have been a total of 2,739 vaccinations (first and second doses if applicable) provided through the Russell County Health Department.
