Lizzy White Again Paints RMSI Christmas Parade Theme on the Bricks of Main Street

In what has become a Christmas tradition, local artist Lizzy White has again painted the Russell Main Street, Inc. Christmas Parade theme on the bricks of Main Street in Russell at 8th and Main.

She painted the art on Sunday despite light rain.

The painting celebrates the 2023 theme of 100 years of oil in Russell County that RMSI and the Russell County Historical Society are working together to honor this month during Weihnachtsfest and the Lighted Christmas Parade.

The painting depicts an oil derrick covered with Christmas lights.
