Local COVID-19 Testing Change

Russell Regional Hospital was notified last Monday afternoon the final date for NIC/TourHealth mass public COVID-19 testing in Russell is Tuesday, January 19.

Thereafter, anyone who would like to obtain free public testing through the state's program may do so by contacting the Russell County Health Department starting January 20.

Paula Bitter, Health Department Administrator, said they have no kits yet to test for COVID-19, but they expect to have them later this week.
