The Natoma Lions Club has announced the 2021 winning Peace Posters for Natoma-Paradise-Waldo USD 399.

Terry Tucker, Lions President, recognized all students for their participation and for the student winners Kennedy Wasson, third place, Andreya Lyle, second place and Camdyn Makings, first place.

Cash prizes were awarded to all three students.

Camdyn Makings will continue on to the Lions District 17K competition.

Student artists created posters that visually communicated the contest theme, We Are All Connected, expressing what peace means to them.

Creating peace posters gives millions of children around the world the chance to express their inspiring visions of peace through art.

For the past three decades, the Natoma Lions Club has joined with other clubs around the world in the International Peace Poster Contest for students ages 11, 12 and 13.

Shawna Dunlap, Lions Officer and USD 399 staff, coordinated the project.
