Russell City Council to Meet Tuesday, July 7
The Russell City Council will hold their regular meeting on Tuesday, July 7 at City Hall.
Agenda items include proclaiming July 7 as Russell County Area Community Foundation Day in recognition of the organization's 25th anniversary, recognize the Community Impact Award recipient, water production update, continuing discussion on the 2027 budget with a focus on levying funds, Nex-Tech service agreement to install security cameras at the Russell Play Park, ordinance to make the temporary four-way stops on Main Street now permanent, resolution calling for a public hearing for the creation of a Community Improvement District (CID) for the area in and around Jump Start on South Fossil Street, resolution to determine the advisability of issuing Industrial Revenue Bonds for the Jump Start project and department reports.
