Russell County Food Pantry to Prepare Thanksgiving, Christmas Food Boxes

The Russell County Food Pantry will prepare Thanksgiving food boxes and Christmas food boxes for families who would otherwise not be able to afford these special meals.

The Food Pantry Board estimates the average cost of each basket at $30 and all the basics for a ham dinner will be provided.

Any donation amount is appreciated.

If you would like to contribute toward the purchase of a basket, please make your check out to the Russell County Food Pantry and mail it to 15 North Front Street, Russell, KS 67665.

Those who need help with the holiday meals may pickup the forms from any church in Russell County, the Russell County Health Department or the Department for Children and Families.
