Russell FFA Member Wins State FFA Agriscience Research Integrated Systems Proficiency Award

A member from the Russell FFA chapter was awarded a Proficiency Award at the 95th Kansas FFA Convention on June 1 on the Kansas State University campus.

Gracie Karst is this year's FFA Agriscience Research Integrated Systems Proficiency winner and received a plaque and cash award.

This proficiency award is for research in the life processes, health, nutrition, genetics, management and processing of animal systems related to small animals, aquaculture, livestock, dairy, horses and/or poultry.

Karst will represent Kansas at the 2023 National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Agriscience Research Integrated Systems Proficiency is sponsored by the Kansas FFA Foundation.
