Russell FFA Member Wins State FFA Agriscience Research Plant Systems Proficiency Award

A member from the Russell FFA chapter was awarded a Proficiency Award at the 95th Kansas FFA Convention on June 1 on the Kansas State University campus.

Hannah Gideon is this year's FFA Agriscience Research Plant Systems Proficiency winner and received a plaque and cash award.

This proficiency award is for research in the life cycles, classifications, functions and practices of plant systems related to crops, turf grass, trees and shrubs and/or ornamental plants.

Gideon will represent Kansas at the 2023 National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Agriscience Research Plant Systems Proficiency is sponsored by Pioneer-Corteva Agriscience.
