Russell High School's Homecoming Week is October 3-8

Russell High School's Homecoming Week is Monday, October 3 through Saturday, October 8.

The Homecoming theme is movies with the dance theme being Hollywood on Saturday, October 8 from 7 to 10 PM.

The dress up days are Minions on Monday, Top Gun on Tuesday, Mean Girls (day to wear pink) on Wednesday, The Sandlot on Thursday and Marvel Superheroes on Friday.

Movie float themes were selected by the Student Council Representatives: Seniors - Iron Man, Juniors - Captain America, Sophomores - Incredible Hulk and Freshmen - Spider Man.

The Homecoming Court Freshman Attendants are Annika Nichols and Trey Zorn, the Sophomore Attendants are Isabella Somers and Camden Backhus, the Junior Attendants are Marissa Myers and Gunner Ulrich, and the Senior Attendants are Mileah Backus and Adrion Ehrlich (pictured below).

The King Candidates are Cameron Farmer, Wyatt Middleton and Jacob Ney. The Queen Candidates are Emily Cole, Lacy Herndon and Kelly Lopez.

Coronation will be at Shaffer Field at 6:30 PM on Friday, October 7 before the football game against Ellsworth.

The Homecoming Parade is Friday, October 7 at 2:30 PM in downtown Russell.

Also, there will be fireworks after the game on Friday night and the bonfire and drag Main event are scheduled for Thursday night.
