Russell Man Arrested Friday in Russell Following Burglary, Assault

A Russell man was arrested Friday night in Russell following a burglary and assault.

According to Russell Police Chief Jordan Harrison, at around 9 PM Thursday, Aaron McCulloch of Russell entered a residence in the 300 block of West 1st Street in Russell and initiated a battery and assault with two other subjects.

McCulloch was taken to Russell Regional Hospital by Russell County EMS with minor injuries and the case was forwarded to the Russell County Attorney.

On Friday night at around 9 PM, McCulloch responded back to the same residence and entered the house with a knife threatening to harm or kill the subjects inside.

He then left the scene, was located in the 500 block of East 14th Street by Russell Police and was arrested for aggravated burglary, aggravated assault, criminal damage to property and criminal threat.

He was taken to the Russell County Jail.
