Teen Left Lightly Injured After Car Goes Airborne on I-70 in Ellis County
In the early evening on Sunday, March 1, a teen crossed into the median on I-70 in Ellis County, hit a crossover and went airborne, but thankfully came away with only bruises.
At 5:41 pm on Sunday, March 1, a teen driving a 2019 GMC Denali, was headed eastbound on I-70 highway around mile marker 162 in Ellis County, when he attempted to pass a vehicle while eating food, drove off the road into the median, hit a crossover and went airborne for about 60-80 feet. When the vehicle landed, they rolled 1-2 times before coming to a stop on the top of the vehicle.
The teen walked away with no major injuries and only bruises. He was wearing a seatbelt.
