Two Temporary Crosswalks Established on Main Street in Russell

Drivers traveling on Main Street in Russell will notice a pair of crosswalk signs have been installed at the intersections of 3rd and 4th Streets.

Russell Police Chief Jordan Harrison announced last week temporary traffic regulations were signed and put into effect on November 27 establishing the two crosswalks at those intersections.

These temporary traffic regulations were put in place to assist with school pedestrian traffic. 

The temporary traffic regulations will remain in place for no less than 90 days when a recommendation will be made to City Council whether to leave the crosswalks in place.
