Baldwin Named RHS Head Football Coach

Russell's Mark Baldwin has been named Russell High School's Head Football Coach for the fall of 2021.

The Russell County USD 407 Board of Education unanimously approved the hire at Monday's Board meeting.

Baldwin moves up from serving as the Ruppenthal Middle School Head Football Coach where his team finished with a 6-1 record in 2020.

Baldwin has coached at the middle school and youth football levels in Russell for several years.

He is also serving this year as the Head Girls Wrestling Coach at RHS and Head Wrestling Coach at RMS.

Baldwin replaces Otis Hendryx, who was 2-16 in two years at RHS.
