When Russell-Victoria and Southeast of Saline met on the Baseball diamond in recent years, the North Central Acitivities Association title was at stake more often than not.

Now they're in different leagues with Russell having moved to the Mid Continent League at the beginning of this school year.  One thing hasn't changed though as Southeast of Saline still has their number.

The Trojans won the NCAA title with doubleheader sweeps over the Broncos in 2017, 2018 and 2019 but on Friday it was simply a non-league affair.   The result however, was the same as Southeast prevailed over Russell-Victoria by scores of 10-0 and 17-2 in Gypsum.

Russell-Victoria (6-10) is next in action on Tuesday, May 11 when they travel to Dodge City for a neutral site twinbill with Satanta.  First pitch for Game 1 is set for 4 p.m.
