Lady Broncos Earn KVA Team Academic Awards

The Russell Jr-Sr High School volleyball team has been recognized by the Kansas Volleyball Association for their outstanding work in the classroom.

The Lady Broncos earned a Team Academic Award with a team GPA of 3.87.

Russell had eight players individually honored. Landing on the All-Academic First Team with a 4.0 GPA were Renya Anschutz, Aubrey Birney, Jaden Ney, Annika Nichols, Kelvie Reeves and Kinsey Zorn. Receiving honorable mention recognition with a GPA between 3.75 and 3.99 were Sophia Gutierrez and Jasmine Jefferson.
