Makeup Dates for Baseball and Softball vs. Ellsworth Announced

Russell High School Activities Director Scott Nuss announced on  Friday makeup dates for the Russell-Victoria Baseball and Softball games which were suspended by weather on Tuesday, April 6.

The Softball game vs. Ellsworth which was the second game of a doubleheader will be completed on Monday, April 26 at 4 p.m. at Memorial Park in Russell.  The Lady Broncos led 2-1 in the second inning when play was halted after Russell-Victoria had won the first contest 13-5.

The Baseball game vs. Ellsworth, also the second game of a doubleheader will be completed on Thursday, April 29 at 4 p.m. at the Shaffer Field Sports Complex in Russell.  Russell-Victoria trailed 1-0 in the second inning when the game was stopped after Ellsworth had won the opener 12-4.
