Regional Assignments Announced for All Fall Sports

With classifications now set for the 2022-23 school year, the Kansas State High School Activities Association has released its postseason assignments for all fall sports.

Russell will compete in the Minneapolis 3A Sub-State volleyball tournament on October 22. Joining Russell in the sub-state are Beloit, Concordia, Ellsworth, Marysville, Minneapolis, Phillipsburg and Riley County.

Sylvan-Lucas is part of the Clifton-Clyde 1A Division 1 Sub-State along with Clifton Clyde, Lincoln, Rock Hills, Blue Valley-Randolph and Washington County.

Victoria goes to the Quinter 1A Division 1 Sub-State. Victoria is joined by Lakeside, Oberlin-Decatur Community, Osborne, Quinter and St. Francis.

Natoma plays in the Beloit-St. John's/Tipton 1A Division 2 Sub-State. Joining the Lady Tigers in the field are Beloit-St. John's/Tipton, Thunder Ridge, Pike Valley, Southern Cloud and Stockton.

Wilson is in the Tescott 1A Division 2 Sub-State along with Burrton, Chase, Hutch-Central Christian, Centre-Lost Springs, Peabody-Burns and Tescott.

Cross country regional meets also will be held on October 22. Russell runs in the Goodland 3A Regional at Sugar Hills Golf Course. 

Natoma (Girls Only) and Victoria compete in the Ness City 1A Regional at the Ness County Country Club. Sylvan-Lucas goes to the Washington County 1A Regional at Cedar Hills Golf Course. Wilson does not have a team.

The Russell girls golf team travels to Larned on October 10 for the 3-2-1A Regional at the Larned Country Club.

The RHS and Victoria girls tennis team both play in the Trego 3-2-1A Regional in WaKeeney on October 7-8.
