RHS Volleyball Goes 2-2 at Russell Invitational Tournament
The Russell High School volleyball team competed in the Russell Invitational Tournament at Amos Morris Gym in Russell on Saturday, September 16 and finished 2-2 on the day.
The Lady Broncos defeated Central Plains in two sets (25-10 and 25-18) and Goodland in two (26-24 and 25-21), but lost to Minneapolis in three sets (25-15, 24-26 and 17-25) and Topeka West in two (21-25 and 18-25).
The Lady Broncos are now 13-4 on the season.
During game one of the Russell Invitational, RHS junior Kelvie Reeves surpassed 500 career digs.
RHS is next in action on Tuesday, September 19 in WaKeeney for a triangular with Norton and Trego at 5 PM.
