Russell K-18 Baseball Captures 3rd Straight Win

The Russell K-18 Baseball team continued its recent roll with a 9-7 win over Beloit on Wednesday evening at the Shaffer Field Sports Complex.

With its third consecutive victory Russell (4-2) is getting hot at the right time and will look to add to their winning ways on Thursday, June 23 with a road contest at Smith Center.  Smith Center used a six-run rally in the seventh inning to hand Russell its most recent loss on June 15 by a score of 9-6.

First pitch for Thursday's game is set for 6:30 p.m.
