Russell-Victoria Baseball Club Sweeps First Two Doubleheaders of Season

The Russell-Victoria 19-and-under baseball club began the 2021 season in grand style over the weekend with a pair of doubleheader sweeps.

Russell-Victoria opened the season Saturday taking two games from Belleville by scores of 8-3 and 5-4 and then on Sunday took down Smith Center by margins of 10-2 and 9-1.

Russell-Victoria (4-0) is next in action Wednesday, June 9 at the Shaffer Sports Complex in Russell when they host Otis-Bison in a doubleheader that begins at 6 PM.
