Three Area Players Hit Hardwood in State Line All-Star Battle

Three players from Northern Plains League schools will finish their High School careers on Saturday, June 3 in the ninth annual State Line All-Star Basketball games in Mankato.

The games feature players from Kansas' Northern Plains League against standouts from the Twin Valley Conference in Nebraska.  The games alternate each year on both sides of the state line.

In the Girls game which tips off at 3 p.m. the NPL will be represented by Keeli Knobbe of Sylvan-Lucas and Candyce Engling of Natoma.

The Boys contest which will tip around 5:30 p.m. will have Sylvan-Lucas' Valden Dohl competing on behalf of the NPL.

Both games will be held at Rock Hills High School.
